The Impossible Crocodile
Inspired by Jerry Andrus' The Impossible Dragon or The Amazing T-Rex, this model has a concave face that follows the viewer around when being looked at different angles (check my Instagram for the video).
The crease pattern is asymmetrical, using the 5 + 2√2 proportion, on which the 5 is divided into 25. As I don’t keep the grip throughout the CP, I need to do some unique level-shifting methods to transform it into a 22.5 design for the body. I believe the model would be much easier to fold when designed inefficiently, but pushing your limit when designing is always good.
