Optical Illusions
I always loved Optical Illusions, and still do. I have plenty of books, a full shelf, to be honest, and a huge collection of images from the web.
My love started with the works of M.C. Escher, and I do hope you know him as well.
If you also share this love, here is a challenge to combine both loves into one: fold an origami model and create an optical illusion.
There are quite a few examples. The Origami Penrose Triangle, by Alessandro Beber (in the image, folded by the creator). The Skull by Herman van Goubergen is a great example, sitting on a mirror that reflects the bottom half of it. Same with his fish (in the bottom image). Here is a link to an Arrow Illusion, by Tristan Miller. I am sure I left so many out...
So May is dedicated to Optical Illusions. Show us what you got!!
Creators: share new designs with us!
Folders: fold any optical illusion you know, post, and add the name of the creator.
