About Evi
Born in Oldenburg / Germany, I am currently living in Lengerich, working as a freelance artist, graduate graphic designer, origami creator, book author and origami teacher since 2004.
My favorite designs are simple to intermediate stylized animals and plants inspired by nature, as well as geometrical objects and boxes.
I am experimenting with self-made paper, or different used and recycled materials for my art projects, to save nature and the climate.
My paper sculptures, which are presented in art exhibitions, are often transmitting messages.
Some of my models made it to the art museums in Germany / MdbK Leipzig, Uruguay / Museo de Origami, Spain / Emoz. They are also presented in several galleries in Germany.
Additionally I am folding for companies and private clients to make my living.
