Cuong NGUYEN Hung

Born in 1989 in Hanoi, Vietnam, Nguyen Hung Cuong has found the joy of transforming a piece of paper into anything his mind drives, only by folding. Cuong not only considers the anatomical proportions of the subjects but also seek for elegance and pleasure when interact with paper. His work is a combination of extraordinary paper sculpture and fluid folding sequence. In 2005, he and his friends together established Vietnam Origami Group, and some years later published many origami books. Cuong has been invited to origami conventions around the world, and showcases his works in many galleries and museums from Tokyo to New York.
