About Halina
Halina “Haligami” Rościszewska - Origami artist. Designs her own models - mosaics, tessellations, flowers, boxes, and modular models. Derives her inspiration mainly from nature. Halina publishes articles and diagrams in magazines, newsletters, and on websites. She authored many origami books.
She is the Origami Instructor. Was vice-president of PTO (2010-2013). Member of the Galician Group of Origami for many years, jointly organizing origami conferences (Outdoor Origami Meeting), workshops, and exhibitions. She took a part in many collective exhibitions like: "Bridges" (2013, 2014, 2016), "Folded Ideas" (2015), "Mujeres de Papel" (2017), and many others during polish and foreign origami and mathematical conferences, also has her own origami exhibition in family town Gliwice "Symmetry versus chaos" (2017).
Graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering, a field of study Mathematics (Silesian University of Technology), also finished postgraduate pedagogical studies as well as majored in Teaching Computer Science in Schools. Since 2002 she has been working in Primary School No 1 in Gliwice, from September 2023 at Primary School No 8 in Tarnowskie Góry, currently a diploma teacher (fourth level).
