About Patricio
"I started as a self-taught folder at the end of the 90’s.
The first time that I saw an origami book, was when I was 10. I was at a friend’s house and I found an old book, I had never seen anything like this before: a diagram to fold a giraffe (with three legs) an elephant (also with three legs) and a Parrot (with two legs, but if you turn it over, the model looks like a Swan with two heads). It was love at the first sight. I learned these models by heart, and have not stopped folding since this first book. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to the diffusion of origami by holding workshops, mounting exhibitions and participating in conventions throughout Chile, South America and Europe. I am, by profession, a publicist, and one of the founders of the group Origami Chile."
