Hubert Villeneuve

I learned origami from books at my local library. A school project made me start designing my own models (an origami chess set, no less!) At the time I focused mainly on characters and objects. Eventually I added 2D landscapes, using tessellation techniques, to my repertoire. More recently I started using cuts in complex designs as this is a huge unexplored area in origami. From this, I could add geometry and masks to my list of model themes. Boxpleating is, and probably will always be, my design method of choice.
