The Tiny Lake

I’ve been folding miniature models without the use of any auxiliary attachments for 27 years. On August 10th, 2023 I managed to fold a figure – the model “Swan” – out of a square sheet of paper which measured 2 mm x 2 mm. I simplified the process and hid some layers inside the figure. Thus the model preserved its form but it became smooth and neat.
My genre is creating thematic miniature compositions. I frequently work up details for them and then paint the figures carefully. This year I’ve made the composition “The Tiny Lake” (30 mm x 3 mm). It consists of 18 details. They are folded out of square white sheets of paper which measure from 2 mm x 2 mm (10 details: the small swan, the butterfly, the small flowers, the small buds, the small leaves) to 5 mm x 5 mm (1 detail: the large stalk).
The two above mentioned models “Swan” are the central figures of the composition. They are folded out of square sheets of paper which measure 2 mm x 2 mm and 3 mm x 3 mm.
I fold miniature models with enthusiasm, pleasure and kind thoughts. I use nothing but tiny sheets of paper, my fingers and eyes in order to prove that every goal is achievable and thus to inspire people to achieve their dreams.
