Bonnie Hurley

I'm a retired academic music librarian and musicologist interested in paper art. I once studied hand bookbinding but stopped when I realized I'm careful at crafts but have NO artistic imagination. I need patterns to work from. I began paper folding in 2013, so I'm an "older folder." I practice daily but I do not aspire to advance past "high intermediate" models. I have a BA in international relations and taught middle school and adults for two years each in Tanzania and Korea (in both countries, paper was scarce at the time.) I use my original name, Bonnie Jo Dopp, on Facebook and all my professional publications are under that name. I have attended origami conferences in person in Portland, OR (PCOC) and New York city (OUSA) and many online.
