Green pit viper (HP)

A new hex pleated snake, with an entirely new diamond-shaped scale pattern. Although a huge pain to fold (the whole model took over 30 hours), these scales and other hex-pleating-specific tricks are the secret to this model’s extremely high efficiency. The model was folded from a 2x3 rectangle, and from tongue to tail measures around 80% of the paper’s long side. For reference, Ryujin 3.5 is also around 80% efficiency, but uses 50% more paper than this model.
