This interpretation of Hojyo Takashi's "Shibaraku" adds a lot more dynamic to the model through a dimensional emphasis on a more textured cloth, the curved hands which are grasping for a twirling fan, the expressive and proud-looking face, the floral-shaped hilt, and the kneeling pose which oozes purpose. Combined with hand-painted paper which makes the model look like a statue, all those details create a more well-rounded character that displays a bigger range of emotions.
