About Linda
Playing with paper has been a part of my life since childhood. And now as an adult, I continue to play with and fold paper, and have a lot more of it.
I enjoy sharing the magic of folding origami with others. I’ve had the opportunity to teach at a number of venues: summer camps, Afterschool programs, senior centers, cancer groups, OrigamiUSA convention, family groups at library, and special event at hospital.
I started creating my own models a few years ago after taking a class in origami design. I saved a crumpled bird, and after a year it turned into my Little Bird. I like to experiment, always asking myself “I wonder what would happen if I did this?” I prefer models that are under 30 folds, and less complicated. Also, I like combining models to create something new. Creating is always emerging.
Two of my models, Goldie the Bat and Kissy Heart Card, have been published in the online magazine of OrigamiUSA, The Fold.
