Tony O'Hare

I'm an origami artist currently living in Monmouth, Wales, having recently moved there from Bristol, just over the border in England. I've been doing origami for nearly 50 years, having first discovered this magical art while at school, making paper aeroplanes and throwing them round the playground. I have been a member of the British Origami Society since 1975, and have held the position of
Chair between 2016-2022, and previously as Publicity Officer.
I've been designing my own origami creations since very early on in my origami life, and my main themes seem to be influenced by my surroundings (e.g. Bristol, Wales), nature, caricatures and "fun" models. 4 booklets of my work have been published by the British Origami Society and can be obtained via their website. My designs have also been included in numerous publications, magazines and books over the years. My aim over the next few years is to produce a book of my favourite models.
