Prisma AiR 2027 Artist residency

An artist residency in the middle of Lisbon, for artists to experiment and connect.

Prisma AiR runs alongside everything else that happens here. You get a room, a place in the shared studio, collective sessions, special conditions for participation in Prisma workshops and events, and a chance to exhibit work on a final show.

We keep it deliberately open: any discipline, any stage, as long as you have something you want to push further. Since 2019 we have hosted more than sixty artists from over forty countries, most of them at a point where a few uninterrupted weeks changed what came next.

Applications must include:

A letter of motivation: a brief description of current practice, statement of intent, an outline of the project you intend to develop, and the hours per week you will dedicate to the residency, 500 words maximum.A portfolio of five to ten images, with dimensions, technique, title and date, 10 MB in total. Letter and portfolio are sent as one single PDF. Preferred dates and duration, and a note if your dates are flexible.
