The Melvin and Burkes Art Galleries are part of  Florida Southern College's Department of Art and Art History.   They bring a wide array of outstanding shows to Lakeland, exhibiting the work of established and visiting artists throughout the year, as well as showcases of student work.

The Lakeland Arts Association 54th Annual Fine Art Exhibition at FSC Melvin Gallery is open to all artists in the central Florida area.  It is the responsibility of every artists entering this exhibit to read, understand, and adhere to the guidlines presented in this prospectus.  It is the responsiblity of the receiving committee to uphold these guidelines.
