Iapma Congress 2025 - Open Call For Presentations
CHINA
IAPMA members are invited to submit proposals for presentations at the 2025 IAPMA Congress, titled “PAPER & WATER,” which will be held from October 29 to November 2, 2025, in Shanghai, China. IAPMA welcomes proposals in English for a variety of presentation formats, including lectures, panel discussions, demonstrations and workshops. Lectures should be concise, visually supported presentations lasting no more than 20 minutes. Panel discussions should include a moderator and three to four speakers, focusing on a specific topic for up to 45 minutes. Demonstrations may showcase techniques related to papermaking, paper art, AI-based paper art creation, book art or restoration, and should not exceed 45 minutes.
Workshops are intended as hands-on sessions for a limited number of participants and may last from one to two hours.
Please refrain from including political, religious or anti-Chinese content.
All presentations must connect to the congress theme, “Paper & Water,” and address artistic creation, education, aesthetics or research. While the convenors may not be able to provide an allowance for presenters, IAPMA can supply a letter of support to assist applicants seeking alternative funding. All submissions will be evaluated by a jury composed of IAPMA officials and representatives from the Convenors’ team.
