Museum Of Northern History - The Art Of Birds Juried Exhibition

The Museum of Northern History in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada, invites artists worldwide to submit works for "The Art of Birds," a juried exhibition celebrating the profound symbolism and beauty of birds, which will be held at the museum from October 10 - November 8, 2025. This year’s theme explores the cultural and historical significance of birds, highlighting their roles in mythology, spirituality, and human imagination. All forms of birds in art from traditional to contemporary are welcome. Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme through a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, digital art, and fiber arts. Submissions will be judged on originality,  artiistic excellence, and thematic relevance. Monetary prizes and honorable mentions will be awarded at the opening reception.
