Four Little Swans

The four little swans, from the Swan Lake ballet, are made from several laboratory cleaning papers. The paper is rolled tightly to obtain rigid filaments (arms and legs).
An interesting part with the arms and legs is that they are not specific to one dancer. Rather, they are shared between them (as shown on the schematic). The heads are then added and attached by rolling paper strips. Finally, the tutu, with a tiny hole in it, is inserted through the legs. To fix it to the body, wetfolding is used. After drying comes shaping and attaching to the base. In this version, some thin wires were placed in the legs/arms filaments. It is possible without it, but the body is then too heavy and the dancers can't stand up without a visible stand. So I prefered to hide the wires in the structure of the model itself.
