This is a character is a interdimensional being from the game Path of Exile. Most of the design is rather standard for humanoids, but I specifically wanted to explore is a feminine looking face on a complex model. Making a female face with folding is tricky since its difficult to make facial features without having several lines crossing the cheeks. This is especially true on humanoid models with many details.
The approach to the face I came up with is rather complicated to apply but allows for lips and a nose without any lines across the rest of the face. While I still think there is improvements to be done to this concept, it worked out rather well in the context of this model.
