The idea of using a simple base to create a strong piece resonates with creators. Surprisingly, this arises from the bird base without grafts, where all spikes are added after collapsing. Kei Watanabe’s design methods have significantly influenced the author’s process, enabling the realization of this work. It serves as a tribute to all designers who have inspired his origami journey.
