Most color change models are static, with fixed patterns. However for this chameleon I wanted to emulate the color changing behavior using the spring joint mechanism. The spring joint, which I have been developing in my works, offers the designer enough control of action models to create specific effects like the color change in this model. I think that this model has the potential to inspire many other works based on a change in color.
