Dragon Heart

The traditional folding process for the Dragon Heart tessellation by Helena Verrill is to precrease only the required diagonal creases from the crease pattern onto a square grid and then collapse the pattern all at once.
The method that I introduce in this new tutorial is to fold all of the diagonals while gridding and then fold the pattern one interaction of pleats at a time, in stripes that progress across the paper.
This new approach opens the door to creating pattern variations while folding and is a much more reliable and less frustrating method for new tessellation folders.
