This is one of my first attempts to convey a specific emotion in a wetfold mask. I wanted to do it in such a way that the fact that it was made out of folded paper added value over another medium. The idea of a thrown towel seemed quite appropriate to give added emphasis to the dejection. Wetfolding watercolor paper allows me to combine the specific contours of the defeated face with the soft undulations of the 'towel'.
