Haus Des Papiers - Paper Residency!

SUMMER 2025 (GERMANY)

"Paper Residency!" is open to all visual artists, regardless of skill level. You do not need to have any experience with paper as a medium. The aim of this residency is to get art students excited about completely free and experimental sculptural work with paper. You will be provided with: accommodation close to the studio; various materials; a limited amount of fine papers, including Hahnemühle; and refreshments (water, tea, and coffee).

There are two studios open this year, each withdifferent date options: The first is in Berlin, and the second is in KunstOrt Lehnin, Brandenberg (Note: This location only accepts applications from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Finland). There will be a studio vernissage in the KunstOrt Lehnin loction. In Berlin, in December of each residency year, the organizers offer all artists from all residency locations the opportunity to participate in a large group exhibition at Haus des Papiers Museum. Works from all residencies will also be transferred to the Haus des Papiers Museum collection and gradually made visible to the public digitally.
