Fractal 1.421

To me this model represents the race to the bottom present in origami design. There is almost a competition to make the most complex model with the highest grid. As I designed this fractal origami model, I came to understand that the beauty in this model was in the less intricate details. This model wouldn't work if every single part of the paper were just folded smaller and smaller. Even though this is the most complex tessellation that I've ever folded, I find it interesting because of the patterns in the large tiles just as much as the tiny recursive folds.

This is an original fractal that is folded using Edward Mistretta's Kaleidoscope Recursion as a base. I calculated the limit to have a fractal dimension of ~1.42, hence the name.
