Qilin is a mythical creature in ancient Chinese mythology. It is believed that the dragon gives birth to a built horse, and the built horse gives birth to a qilin. Along with "dragon," "phoenix," "turtle," and "Pixiu," it is known as one of the five great mythical beasts.
