Lucca Biennale Cartasia Competition – Paper Design Object

Lucca Biennale Cartasia is the biggest worldwide art event dedicated to Paper as an artistic and architectural means, taking place every two years in the city of Lucca, Tuscany. LUBICA was established in 2004 with the mission of promoting tradition, culture, sustainability and innovation. The 12th edition will be held in 2024, celebrating twenty years of activity.

LUBICA aims to create stimuli and to facilitate interactions between artists willing to take on challenges, "educate to beauty," care for others, and, above all, break away from conventions and create new perspectives. The competition focuses on showcasing design objects made of paper (and derivatives), distinguished by their originality and bold, innovative use of materials. The selected design objects will be displayed in LUBICA’s venues.
