Face study XV

Wet folding is one of the oldest techniques in origami yet there are still so many more possibilities left untouched. A very interesting balance is needed between details and smooth curves, between realism and caricature. Meanwhile, the quality of a piece can stand or fall with a single thoughtless fold. This work is part of an ongoing series where I explore the immense amount of nuances that can be made within the human face.
