Penelope looks in the distance, a little away from us, waiting for Ulysses.

Folded as an anamorphological model, the originally square sheet is almost left unfolded. This picture shows the sheet from an acute angle, as Penelope‘s features can only be distinguished in this manner.

Thus apparent simplicity and purity arise from choosing the proper perspective to understand a complex character which will seem twisted if considered frontally.
