CT Linked Flowers
The original model was discovered/ designed by Madonna Yoder for her Advent of Tess event for a 16 X 16 X 16 grid hexagon. As with the other models from this series, I was enamoured by the beautiful pattern and challenged myself to extend the symmetry out to a 48-fold grid on a hexagon of side 14.5 cm. The paper used was Banana fibre paper which I dyed to give the look of a bed of flowers in a field. This is by far the densest pattern that I have folded to date as the twists overlap each other. The grid size is roughly equal to 0.3cm.
