Blakiston’s fish owl
- designed by Katsuta Kyohei
- folded by me
- 50*50cm Vintage paper
-《Origami Works of Kyohei Katsuta》
(It took me nearly 7 hours to fold the Owl of Kyohei Katsuta. The main focus is on the plastic surgery of wings and face, as well as the adhesive bonding between the overall paper layers, which requires patience to observe the physical shape of animals in reality. The most important thing is that I always feel that I can come into contact with nature when it comes to origami, so I really enjoy incorporating origami into the background of nature.)
