Portrait of the men

While many complex origami works try to create something that could be achieved in other media, this design could not exist if it was not made by folding paper, and the folds are visibly part of the design. The creator not only brings his own unique style and expression, but shows a technique that constrasts the sharp geometric pleats of the characters’ faces and bodies with the different soft textures of their clothes. The composition tells us a story, in which the creator asks us to imagine the lives of old robots, living longer than they might and wonder is this our future?
