Don't Go

Or: a portrait of memory, seared.

This work uses breaks new ground in origami, using a single uncut square of paper to form a silhouetted image on a "screen" created by the paper itself. In doing so, it tells a story about the way single moments can burn themselves into our memory, leaving behind a permanent shadow of what once was.
