Anomalocaris

One square sheet of ultra-thin Gerard paper, 45 cm to a side, no cuts.
Fully 22.5 degree design.

Anomalocaris is an extinct relative of modern arthropods. Anomalocaris lived in the Cambrian, (~500 million years ago). Anomalocaris is a very important genus since it was one of the first predators to evolve and one of the first animals to evolve eyes. Current estimates put Anomalocaris around 1 meter long.

This model is significant technically in that it was designed using 22.5. This kind of complexity in a 22.5-degree framework is still rare in the origami world and represents important design innovation.
