The Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg (“Artists’ House”) was founded in 1986. Its funding, from the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein, enables it to grant fellowships in the fields of contemporary visual arts, literature (publication in German language) and composition. It offers artists from all over the world the opportunity to complete new projects in an undisturbed working environment and to present them to an interested public. All fellowships are selected by three expert juries.
