VENUS’S MIRROR is the title of the 25th edition of ART WOMAN (World Women’s Day) which will be set up in Lecce, at the Renaissance venue of the Palmieri Foundation in Lecce in the old city.

This is not a history of mirrors in art. Rather, it is the story that the mirror would tell if it only knew how to speak, the images of what it saw reflected on its surface, the vanity and malice of the goddesses, the ecstasy of fragile Narcissus, the confident gaze of the painter or photographer who he portrays himself, the rooms dilated and duplicated in places of the imagination. Theme: Identity, history , human body, rituals, ties with nature, female revolution, visionary, hybridizations, etc.

Worldwide female and male artists can participate. Works related to the theme with any technique, including multimedia are welcome.

Exhibition dates: February 24 - March 8, 2023
