ARTIST IN RESIDENCE AND 33RD IMADATE CONTEMPORARY PAPER ART EXHIBITION 2021 (Deadline May 30, 2021)

Imadate Art Field has become well established since 1979. This year will be the 33rd Contemporary Paper Art Exhibition which will be held in Imadate, Japan. The program includes an artist-in-residence project with an exhibition. The purpose of the program is to explore paper art and to have artists/writers interpret it independently and to seek inspirations from various media. At the Artist in Residence, artists are asked to create contemporary art works and participate in the wider community of Echizen. The exhibition will be set up in the old warehouse of the Fukui Prefecture Washi Industry Cooperative. For further information and application write to:
