Origami Zagreb

Origami Zagreb is an informal group of origami artists and enthusiasts from the former Croatian Origami Society. Even though the Society no longer exists, we’re still active and happy to welcome visitors to Zagreb.

If you love creating complex origami and exploring polygon packing, you should meet Arijan Abrashi, an engineer with a PhD inspired by origami. We highly recommend his blog on designing origami and polygon packing. He is able to explain rather complex things with a contagious passion, a very nice person to meet. Other Croatian origami artists you might enjoy include Sanja Srbljinović Čuček (blog), Igor Petlevski (Origorami), and Zelimir Zlatic (website).

Visitors can reach us by email, and we can share phone contact for easier coordination. We don’t have conventions, but we occasionally host international mini-meetings whenever possible. Our Facebook page has past events and updates.
