CDO - Centro Diffusione Origami
Convention Info
The Centro Diffusione Origami (Origami Diffusion Center - CDO) is a national, non-profit cultural association, founded in 1978 by Roberto Morassi and Giovanni Maltagliati, two passionate origamists who, following the example of other Western countries such as Great Britain, committed to ensuring that an association was born also in Italy to bring together and provide information and material to an ever-increasing number of "passionate origamists".
The CDO aims to spread and publicize the knowledge and practice of origami, promoting its study in its many aspects and underlining its great effectiveness as an educational tool for developing manual ability, aesthetic sense, creativity as well as the deepening of one's own geometric and mathematical knowledge.
The CDO currently counts more than 500 members, including numerous foreigners of prestigious names and curricula, and authors of high-level books, as a witness to the high level of quality achieved over the years by the Association.
