About Rodrigo
When I was seven, my grandfather gave me a book; I remember him telling me he kept it until his grandchildren were old enough. It was Asahi Origami Club's Sakura book, published in 1959. After learning to make all the figures in it, I did the same with a similar book and, finally, with other guides that my grandfather found after I told him there were no more figures I could learn to make. Origami became my passion, and I kept the book so I could repeat this experience someday with my grandchildren. Then I thought of making an album to show them my figure collection. Keeping this album I made when I was ten has helped me clarify the concept of having a vision for something I value. I have learned the importance of developing a talent to turn a vision into reality by following all the steps to complete a strategy. I realized all this a few months ago and recovered my passion for Origami. I remembered I could make the classic crane figure blindfolded.
