About Jun
I am an origami artist and sculptor based in Shanghai, China. I began practicing origami seriously in 2024, inspired by the works of Satoshi Kamiya, Shuki Kato and other contemporary origami artists.
My work focuses on transforming a single sheet of paper into detailed animals, mythical creatures, and figurative sculptures. I particularly enjoy exploring the relationship between origami, hand painting, photography, and visual storytelling, using color, lighting, and composition to bring folded forms to life.
I am continually exploring new subjects and techniques, with the goal of creating origami sculptures that combine the precision of folding with the atmosphere and emotion of fine-art photography.
