About Julián
I am a biology undergraduate (UBA) and an artist expert in origami, dedicated to exploring the crossover between origami and nature. For years I have been creating and disseminating new folded models that represent with simplicity the flora and fauna of Argentina.
Since 2021 I have been giving origami workshops in which I prioritise the dissemination of models (my own or other authors') that represent the local fauna, as well as the free exploration of paper by the participants.
As for my personal motivation, I believe that the range of possibilities that would open up if we could represent all our animals and plants with simple origami is immense, and I work every day so that when decorating a classroom in the Southern Cone we fold capybaras and condors instead of cranes.
