Classic Art Challenge - The Birth of Venus

The Birth of Venus, by Sandro Botticelli (1486) inspired many generations of artists, and its subject, Venus, was the definition of beauty for years to come.

We wish to encourage creators to expand their artistic endeavors, and there is nothing more natural than to use a classic painting as a muse!

Look into the The Birth of Venus patiently and find your source of inspiration - either from the corrugated scallop shell, the female body, the floating flowers, or the free-flowing red robe.

Many thanks to Ynon Toledano, who came up with this idea.

Please create an account or log in to participate.
