Scorpion

My favorite origami subjects are scorpions. I was delighted to see this model by Pham Hoang Tuan, with its simple yet incredibly detailed structure. I didn’t just want to follow the instructions — I wanted to give the model realism and a more menacing appearance.

Original Work

The image displays a highly detailed origami sculpture of a scorpion, crafted from dark-colored paper. The model is intricately folded, showcasing realistic features such as sharp pincers, eight segmented legs, and a curled tail poised in a striking position. The paper's texture and folds give the scorpion a lifelike appearance, emphasizing the precision and artistry involved in its creation. The background is neutral, allowing the origami figure to stand out prominently
