Scutigera coleoptrata

I designed this model with a major focus on realistic leg proportions, with proper paper allocation. I used BP studio to try many different configurations of flap placement, knowing that I wanted the four longest flaps at the corners and the shortest flaps to be center points. There is a minimal amount of wasted paper, absorbed into the meandering rivers. My original motivation for designing this subject was a way to showcase the large very thin sheets of hand made paper I have created.
