Dancing Shiva (Nataraja)

This work reimagines the image of the god Shiva in Hinduism, inspired by ancient reliefs from the Champa civilization in Vietnam. The piece presents Nataraja in his cosmic dance, with sixteen arms radiating outward in a fan-like rhythm, forming a dynamic halo of motion. The figure’s body flows gracefully within the dance, embodying both power and elegance.

The entire character is folded from a single square sheet of paper, faithfully recreating the essential features of the deity. Supporting elements curve in harmony with the main form, while lotus blossoms are added to further evoke the sacred and poetic atmosphere.
