Medium=Meaning : Neelesh K's Book of Crease Patterns (Mini-Book + Digital Full Book)
This is a Book that Folds.
It folds into Models.
It folds into Ideas.
It folds into YOU.
This is a series of models designed and folded by me from single uncut sheets of various types of paper throughout this past year. Some are self-referential, some silly jokes, but it's an attempt to show the power of the medium and the subject matter. The main
idea was to fold models which make little sense without the appropriate medium (eg. Hourglass, Trans-Parent Salps, Bamboo Hut etc) .
The e-book is the original version of the Mini-Book of Crease Patterns. But due to paper printing and sizing constraints, I had to split the idea into a simpler mini-Book and a full e-Book. Both
versions follow the same theme - Medium=Meaning, in different ways.
It's a real delight to depict ideas via origami ! I'll hopefully add more works to this series. Hope you all like it, and wish it inspires even better ideas :)
