This video presents a practical application of tilings in origami tessellations that dictates what twists are finished, fully included, or started in a particular ring around the center, which allows the folder to make as many repeats of the pattern as they want.
The pattern used in the tutorial is a nearly-flagstone pattern of rhombus, hexagon, and triangle twists that has very appealing backlighting.
