I was interested in the idea of what's lost between the layers of folded paper and how it can be applied to distort imagery physically rather than digitally. Using a 22.5° tessellation pattern, combined with a cyanotype printed self portrait. The image is then crushed to a smaller version, obfuscating detail creating something that's almost human but not quite.
